On Monday of this week, the UTS Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Attila Brungs, announced UTS's decision to pause all coursework teaching (lectures, tutorials, lab classes, etc.) for one week from Tuesday 17 March.

UTS的宣布，从3月17日周二开始，所有的课程教学(讲座、辅导课、实验课等)暂停一周。

This decision was made in response to the Australian Government's decision last weekend to implement social distancing. The teaching pause is to enable teaching staff to redesign face-to-face delivery of classes to modes that support social distancing and remote support (including, but not limited to, online).

这一决定是对澳大利亚政府上周末决定实施社会疏远的回应。教学暂停是为了使教师能够重新设计课堂的面对面授课模式，以支持社交距离和远程支持(包括但不限于在线)。

Teaching will resume on Tuesday 24 March, including progressive implementation of these changes.

We have also just emailed all international students about access for off-campus study options. International students will have access to all the same options for studying off campus that the local students will have.
